Integrations Overview
Deducto supports two integration shapes: full platform integrations that connect a supported commerce platform end-to-end, and custom integrations for storefronts you build yourself. Within custom integrations you can also optionally connect a search provider so product selection inside Deducto is easier.
Full integrations
A full integration connects your commerce platform directly to Deducto, and gives you:
- easy onboarding and integration setup to bring promotion evaluation in your storefront
- product data search inside Deducto when creating promotions
Shopify
Shopify projects are created and managed from the Deducto embedded app inside Shopify Admin – account setup, plan selection, billing, and plan changes all happen there. You then enable Deducto in your Shopify theme with a theme app block and an app embed, and (on Shopify Plus) an optional Checkout UI Extension.
Shopify is the billing authority for the project subscription, including any usage-based charges. See Billing Overview for what this means inside Deducto, or Shopify Integration for the setup guide.
WooCommerce
WooCommerce support is coming soon. Until it ships, WooCommerce stores can integrate with Deducto via the custom storefront route below.
Custom storefront integration
If your storefront is custom-built (or your platform isn't covered by a full integration yet), you can integrate with Deducto by calling Deducto's APIs from your own frontend and backend.
At a high level, your storefront needs to:
- send cart data to Deducto when cart contents change
- re-check promotions before checkout is finalised
- apply the resulting promotion effects in your own UI
See Custom Storefront Integration.
Search integrations
Search integrations are optional – they let you conveniently browse your catalogue when building promotions. Pick products, categories, and brands directly inside the Deducto Dashboard when building promotions, rather than entering identifiers by hand. They do not handle storefront promotion evaluation – you still need either a full integration or the custom storefront integration for that.
